Rope Access Safety

SPRAT AND IRATA

We ensure Sprat and Irata training and maintain a Level 3 on site. This provides security for our employees and assurances of professional quality maintained in all access systems.

Training

We send Employees to train in Occupational First Aid and over 160 other courses to ensure workers are educated about risk management and how to deal with hazardous situations including “HS2” and “Confined Spaces”

Training and Experience a Necessity!

When taking care of your home, its essential to protect your interests in with experience and the knowledge to always know you never know enough.

Practice Senarios and Meetings

We arrange senarios in our warehouse for difficult access situations and regularly gather to discuss the ever changing frontiers of our industry and business safety practices. We listen to each employee and respond to make sure voices are heard and changes are met with records and time tables for meeting safety objectives.

Rope Access replaces old practices

We have heavily phased out Bosun Chair workers in favor of Rope Access Systems. Rope Access is the much safer regulating body. We do not accept bosun chair experience as valid experience towards employment as the standards for bosun chair are poorly defined and dangerous to use in the 21st century. All Employees are encouraged to upkeep their certification every 3 years at a minimum. Please see https://sprat.org/ and or https://irata.org/ as both regulating bodies are accepted in Canada. SPRAT and IRATA also allow a large variety of access methods unavailable to old practices that make work safer for the worker and more effective for the client.
